That whole story reminds me back in my Middle School days.... Instead of A Roach.. its a Scorpion... it creeps up on my at night while i was asleep and when i saw it i figured it said "Hi", I freaked and the Scorpion Freaked and then its a Battlefield for survival...

i didnt turn my room into a battlefield.
i exaggerated my story a bit.
that picture is just the opposite of my experience.
we have bug zapping paddle things here too,
it's just uncommon to use them during winter.

i had been terrorized by a bee that was somehow frozen on the window pane. It's winter here in Canada It must've thawed out one day and started to make little noises around my room at night. the first night i thought it was just someone moving around upstairs and thought nothing of it. Then the second night i heard the tick tacky sound of a bug hitting the wall accompanied by that proverbial bee buzz sound, then i knew i had to deal with this creature. I sprang to action at some point in the night, mustve been around 3 am. I have never been this pissed off and scared in a long time. i knew i must kill this terror. so i hit the light, saw where it had "perched" itself and i proceeded to kill the shit out of it with the closest flat hard surface i could find, so it happened to be with my star trek dvd case. Fast as lightning and my terror was over. i was only angry because i knew it was in my room for who knows how long and i didnt notice it. the corpse of said creature now rests forever in a special spot on my left stereo speaker, as a reminder to all other bees, I AM NOT FOR F"N WITH. i thought this was funny because this is not how i deal with intrusive bugs, I adopt a kill or be killed mentality when dealing with things im scared of , like bees. that is all

Im not sure Canada sell the "Mosquito Zapper" or not.

it looks the same as I use in the picture above.

this "weapon" are common in Taiwan.

people use this to kill bugs.
